Korean Beef Stir Fry

Foodservice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup soy sauce, low sodium
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
  • 4 teaspoons oil, sesame
  • 2 teaspoons sambal oelek
  • 2 teaspoons garlic clove, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons ginger root, raw
  • 4 cups vegetable, stir fry blend
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups Hungry Planet Beef™ Plant-Based GroundBuy Now

Instructions:

  • Step 1.

    In a large bowl, combine ½ cup soy sauce, 4 tablespoons brown sugar, 4 teaspoons sesame oil, 2 teaspoons sambal oelek, 2 teaspoons minced garlic, and 2 tablespoons grated ginger. Reserve this sauce for step 4.

  • Step 2.

    Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add 1 qt vegetables and 2 tbsp water. Cook until tender-crisp, 3 to 5 minutes. Season with salt & pepper. Remove from pan.

  • Step 3.

    Add a drizzle of oil to the empty stir fry pan and heat until smoking. Add crumbled Hungry Planet Beef™. Saute until browned, about 3 to 5 minutes.

  • Step 4.

    Stir sauce into beef and heat thoroughly. Add vegetables to the beef and mix, or serve beef and vegetables side-by-side.
